Haft Barg Institution have been running for more than 10 years as a place that does many jobs, it is a teaching school, a theater, a place for a chat and a tea, and the place to get any accessory you want for your movie or your play. Now we are also starting a small film festival which will screen films from around the world a few nights over the year.

Haft Barg Film Festival is a newly started film festival which was in the making for many years and now it has finally gone live. Our festival is ran by a small group of filmmakers and artists, we create a small venue for other fellow filmmakers, writers, actors, directors and artists for a night to watch some good, meaningful and entertaining short movies from across the world and talk about them, understand them and appreciate them.

At the end of the night we will ask for every audience to choose one of the movies and talk about their flaws and strengths, and we'll translate and send their review to you guys a few days later.

Our point is to create the right atmosphere to enjoy your short films, but not to just watch and enjoy but think about the purpose of the artists and understand them and reflect our thoughts with the creators themselves.

We accept Fiction/Experimental shorts, Under 20 Minutes.
All movies will receive official certificates of participation. We can not wait to watch your movies.
